“Bare winter trees are the central images in many of my paintings. I do not regard these works as traditional landscape paintings, but rather as representations of emotional experiences”.
Miller earned his Master of Fine Arts degree from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) Hoffberger Graduate School of Painting in 1986. He currently teaches art at Towson University, and he has taught at MICA and Vermont College of Norwich University. His work has been exhibited in numerous galleries in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New York.
